Andrew Blair Consulting & Design

Senior white-label development for agencies.

The developer your designers want on the project.

I started as a graphic designer. I read a mockup the way it was meant — and because I think as a designer and a developer at once, I catch UX issues before they're built and suggest fixes designers want to adopt. When there's no designer on the job, I fill the gap without making it worse.

Full-stack mobile and web — back-end and front-end, iOS and Android — from one senior person. Twenty years contracting to agencies. Past projects for Adobe, Microsoft, Nike, Disney, Ford, Coca-Cola, Under Armour and the World Health Organization — under NDA, under your brand, in your process. Your client stays your client.

And a plus most contractors don't have: firmware, electronics and light PCB design. If your client wants a retail or showroom piece that senses, connects or reacts — a kiosk, a point-of-sale display, an experiential installation with sensors in it — I build the whole thing, hardware included — as I did for a Volkswagen showroom kiosk, an eight-screen touch installation for the sales centre of a multi-tower highrise development, and my own line of cellular-connected devices.

Available for full builds or for the part of the project nobody else on the team can do.
